Hi, I’m Aki.
I grew up in the U.S. and Japan and married into a Chinese family. Growing up across cultures has shown me how deeply our values shape the way we plan for the future. Inspired by the Japanese concept of shu-katsu (終活), or “end-of-life planning,” I started my firm to guide families in protecting their estates, preserving their legacies, and caring for their loved ones—with clarity, compassion, and a sense of ease.
Before focusing on estate planning, I worked as an antitrust and intellectual property litigator at Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco and Tokyo, representing tech companies in complex litigation. I am fluent in Japanese and English and enjoy helping families feel confident that their legacy is secure. Outside of work, I spend time with my husband, two children, and our miniature poodle, cheering at my daughter’s volleyball and son’s soccer games, enjoying Zumba dancing and weaving Nantucket baskets.
